I'm a little puzzled.

When it opened up much higher on very low volume this morning I didn't like the feel of it and decided to sell early and buy back in later.
However, my broker link was down and by the time I could get thru it was way down from its high. Spilt milk.

Anyway, I'm mystified because I thought the earnings announcement was great (looked great to me anyway ... wasn't it above analyst expectations?). Not that much volume came in on the runup, and then it deteriorated all day, barely closing up at all.

Some institutions may still come in over the next few days, which would help, but I'm wondering if any of you have any insights as to why it fizzled today, even with the good earnings report?

I don't think we can blame this one on shorts or market makers ... I just don't understand why more volume didn't come in on the buy side after that announcement. If that doesn't do it, then what do we have to look forward to that might?
