People should be aware that the SoftRAM 95 problem wasn't the result of poor quality control. The Windows 3.1 version simply changed some Control Panel settings which users could do themselves with the click of the mouse; the Windows 95 product bordered on criminal fraud which was detailed on every level by the prestigious software Journal "Dr. Dobb's Journal." In fact, the product not only did nothing, it used an empty shell of a program taken which PC Magazine previously distributed for free, but not for commercial sale. Before anybody starts in with the personal attacks. I will gladly provide the e-mail addresses of the computer scientists who outed their scam and the details of their report. If you wish to dispute these documented facts, please do so in an appropriate and civil manner. Generally, that's a given, but apparently not on this thread.
