If you do 50,000 shares on Island that adds liquidity, your commission is zero at Cyberbroker. If you do 50,000 share on a selectnet preference, your commission would be 19.95 plus $1.00 for the ticket because there is not a per share fee. Remember, there is not limit to the amount of shares on a ticket. If you trade size and use another ECN, then you are correct and would have a higher rate than MB Trading. If you trade small size, under 1000 shares and use Island all the time, you will come out ahead if you do not trade alot during the month. I am guessing now that MB Trading has lowered their rates to catch up with JPR, that Cyberbroker will do the same.
I want to point out that I do not have an account at Cyberbroker, or JPR. |
