Kevin,

I am still in the process of learning how to best trade stocks. Your comment about "I could lecture for hours about not averaging down" got my attention. I have seen some good stock pickers do this very thing, assuming that the company's fundamentals still look good, the P/E should look even better, etc. Please educate me and some of the other novices here in a short statement why averaging down is not a good thing to do.
