Mike, I ran across this article dealing with companies selling puts on their own stock. In this case, the Microsoft CFO is responding to alleged handling of the proceeds in the financial statements. microsoft.com The original article is in the "Financial Engineering" link. It appears that proceeds are not reported as income. Regards, Bob
