What can I say, from what I've overheard the processor division of AMD is a drag on the company compared to the other chips they make. Maybe that changed last quarter and I missed it.
You sure like to bash a newbie. I thought I'd just throw in my two cents as a part-time home system builder. Even though I only build on average 1 system a week, I think I have a pretty good feel of the current climate for buyers. The Intel brand recognition doesn't make the difference that it did 6 months ago to my buyers. And it is interesting that even the modestly educated buyers are getting feedback from the Circuit City and Office Depot salesmen that the Celeron is no great prize. I don't own either Intel, AMD, or NS, so you can tell I'm an idiot next Tuesday, or better yet wait for Wed. night. However, I love RFMD and it has made me a happy puppy.
Regards
Scott
