Thanks, Eric, for that response. Obviously, we could all come up with a vast range of alternatives regarding valuation of each company and their relationship to each other. I guess all we can do is sit back and wait for the attorneys and accountants to do their thing. Once these so-called "professionals" have come to some conclusion, I assume they will provide us with all of the details of their work.

Obviously, approval by Avalon's shareholders is required. If I remember correctly, management does NOT hold a controlling number of shares, so it would appear that the shareholder vote might actually mean something - that is it might not be automatic if the terms are not acceptable to current shareholders.

We shall wait and see.

BTW, I suspect those big-city attorneys charge a wee bit more than they do here in a small town on the Oregon Coast. I guess that's just one more advantage of small town living!
