My 2c FWIW,

Bob, I think you pointed out some interesting items in that long post. I usually don't read em when they get over a page or two. Even if you edit out the interpretive interludes the quotes themselves are fairly alarming. Yet the Birchers perpetually have an air of alarm which many interpret as paranoia. So others dismiss it outright as nonsense and trash. They, in turn, are scary in they're "no worries" attitude, "you poor fool". One would think they believe governments are essentially benevolent.
I personally think deviations from the constitution are alarming and are a fair benchmark to measure the "goodness" of proposed changes. Yet the constitution has been whittled away at for decades. This is not likely to change. Governments perpetuate themselves by assuming broader reach and size. They are like the sea. Cyclical and for the most part unstoppable. The coming years may be fruitful, relatively unoppressive and filled with good fortune and opportunity. Then again, things may well sour badly.
My first priority is to achieve CYA capability. Attain enough wealth and knowledge so that you can exercise alacrity in getting you and your loved ones the hell out of the way when necessary. (I think what's most scary about the nascent NWO is its breadth is wider than any previous potentially oppressive movement, wiping out the escape hatches.)
After that you can worry about changing the politics and peoples minds for what good it might do.

Anyone care to join my cult? :)
