We wore uniforms and baseballcaps with the company logo.

Change headlight, fuses fix flats, change fan belts, check water, change thermostat. Part time evening employees were expected to know how to do this stuff. Sometimes we were alone with hundreds in cash.
Gas was 33 cents cigarettes 37cents six pack 89cents
