Are the gentleperson(s) who bought the private placement blowing it out? Ya' know - back when I used to listen to my granpappy tell me stories about how he would trade shares under that little tree that years later became Wall Street, he once told me a little story about how some stocks that traded in Canada would have these big runups in anticipation of a listing on an exchange in what were sometimes still referred to as "the Colonies". It seems that since the knowledge of the coming of a US listing was widely disseminated, when the actual event happened, it was....what did Monica say after adjusting her kneepads......."anticlimatic". Grandpappy suggested to me that a major factor that would determine the behaviour following the listing on a US exchange would be the fact that the listing could give the stock exposure to a set of potentially new investors who were not aware of the stock or simply did not have access to purchase it before the new listing. As grandpa has departed the the great beyond.com, my communications with him are less frequent, but promised to be made easier by successive iterations of evolving genetic algorithms, which in no doubt will make use of the infinite bandwith provided by tachyon.net - no doubt to be a Robertson Stephens/Smith Barney IPO. Unwilling to wait for the IPO of tachyon.net and full-duplex multidimensional communication with grandpappy at beyond.com, I uncovered the bag of chicken bones lent to me by Gwenda, (the good witch). With much trepidation, I shook the bag this afternoon. Clearing away pistachio nut shells on my floor, I laid down a perfect oval sheepskin which would serve as the board of truth. Deep inside, a voice told that I should not waste the well of perfect knowledge in the pursuit of monetary gain. So I rolled up the sheepskin and threw the pistachio nuts back on the floor. I put the bag of chicken bones back underneath the house where it rightly belonged. What if the truth would be distrubing? What if my honor and potential sainthood within the Church could be compromised by my unwillingness to let fate ride out its directionless hand? And so I looked in the next best place for investment guidance - I went the the NY Public Library and left with 1999's first issue of TV guide tucked into my undershorts. Lucky for me, I was wearing the special pair with the mylar-reinforced crotch, and the alarms did not go off. By candlelight, I cut out all of the VCR-Plus programming guide numbers and taped them together. The next step was tedious, and was what prevents all but the bravest from achieving Katmai, the 9th order of Hiroshi of the 7th House. this step involves searching for strings of prime numbers in a most arcane sequence only known until this writing to a group of ice-fishermen in Minneapolis. As the first prime number is 1, the first number in the 8 foot long taped string is examined. If the first number is not 1,it is disposed of. Then the first 3 numbers are examined, with a phase shift of unity. If this sequence is not prime, then a sequence of five numbers are examined, phase shifted by three, and so on and so on. The first prime number sequence is the truth bearing number - as it should be. I have found the sequence.
