Uncle Frank, Re: "Can anyone recall the highest p/e intc had during its great run in 1996-97?" The site I mentioned, Big Charts, came back to life. Change the timeframe to three years when you get there, or whatever you want. Looks like we're in uncharted waters here WRT INTC P/E, including the big runup that ended 1/97. Big Charts is doing trailing P/E, however. Today's P/E using next year's "consensus" earnings is about 29. bigcharts.com More good news: Garrison Hearst will play on Saturday. Tony
