Laura I love your picks... well not AMZN so much but BRCM and CMGI ( you typed CGMI but I assume u meant CMGI!)

I think BRCM is probably the most overlooked "internet" stock out there.... it's probably my favorite stock for the next 3 years. (although I'm more of a trader than a holder)

I'd also add ATHM to your list... it would be a perfect addition to AOL's stable... mergers mergers....

I am not buying calls on any of the above right now because I prefer to sell into a frenzy rather than buy in the middle of it.. but the next 10-20% correction on the I-nets I will be buying long term calls on BRCM, CMGI, ATHM, LCOS, and perhaps NSOL even though I still don't understand their near monopoly... or why it's allowed. But so many stocks, and finite time to research. :)

I think '99 will be the year that money moves to the leaders of the sector rather than any old stock with a web site opening like late in 1998.

Good luck and I hope the YHOO insansity lasts 3 more trading days.. my only fear is that a split is already factored in the stock price and if for some god forsaken reason YHOO does not announce a split you could see a significant short term drop... oh well..
