Being first with mass production capability of the best product should make Valence shareholders very pleased. As Lev stated during a recent conference call, Valence has been working on this technology for almost 9 years, and have taken time to patent solutions to problems along the way. He predicted that it would be difficult for competitors to get very far with a similar technology without stepping on some of Valence's patents! Production efforts by Sony and Sanyo are a statement that Valence's efforts have been directed at a product with high worldwide demand.
