My beloved Nicholas probably was still in diapers back then. as were you. I did have a brief thing for Christopher Reeves, but I think that was a pathological reaction due to going to see Somewhere in Time during a post-partum depression. Very bad mix. After Ammo was born, I had a similar reaction to Tom Hulce in Amadeus. I was emotional for years after my babies were born. My mother and I watched Terms of Endearment on one of her visits. It was the saddest thing I ever saw-I was sobbing--literally prostrated by this deep mother-daughter relationship-- and at the end, I turn to look at my mother wanting to share all this emotion, to hug her, talk about mothers and daughters-- and she's fallen asleep. "What did I miss?" she says. "What's wrong with you?"
