First and foremost, I humbly apologize for offending you. This is my second reply to you since my machine hung up and lost the original reply which, in typical AV fashion, was much longer than it should have been. So the condensed version, just in case, my PC hangs up again.
1. I am not equality challenged. I can be an equal opportunity gender neutral jerk once in a while. I am extremely gender blind such that I occasionally feast on "foot sandwiches".
2. I try to be sensitive to situations when I am aware of them. No offense was meant in the comments. I would have used the same 2x4 comment and an equally off color "Rip your shirt off like Hulk Hogan, flex those muscles and say, Whatta ya gonna do when these pythons go CAMPing over you, so you better BUY BUY BUY".
3. I work in a very diverse atmosphere since this industry is extremely blind to race, religion, ethnic origin, sex, and age.
4. My group has almost as many male Engineers as females in both Process and Product Engineering. We are a close knit group and are equally offensive to each other at times but we make a great team.
5. We are working on harassment in the workplace issues and your point is well taken.
6. It was presumptuous to make assumptions concerning how comments would be received in a negative or positive jovial fashion.
7. What I like about this thread is the diversity of thought, personalities, and genders. My hat is off to you for your expertise, male or female.
8. I did something inappropriate, and for that I am sorry. I took the comraderie a little further than I should.
BTW- I like you too so that is why I feel extra bad about you having to subject yourself to 24 hours of thought on this matter. Also, is there any doubt that the PATS will prevail by a field goal in the last seconds of the game?
P.S. - Dorothy, even if you were a guy, I still would have asked for the recipes. I love chocolate chip cookies and brownies. They are more important than $$$, since we will all have more $$$ than we know what to do with real soon.
