What sort of positive corporate news might be in the offing? I have insight into the legal side of events, but not into the business itself.

Regarding the recent negative legal news, the lawsuits filed over failing to disclose immediately the delisting warning from NASDAQ would appear to be on thin ice since there is no clearly defined requirement that management disclose the event (they have discretion in determining materiality in such cases as opposed to certain clearly defined events, such as in the case of an auditor change, when they would not). The fact that management has announced a solution to the problem would tend to undercut further any mismanagement/fraud claims. One further point worth mentioning is that such lawsuits usually start with a big splash and then quickly sink into obscurity. If the attorneys do not sense a quick "kill" they will move on to another victim, since firms that handle this sort of case do so on a high volume, low hard work basis. They will not devote any real time if the issue might be in real doubt, the intended victim too feisty, or the likely damages winable too small.
