WW, Remember me from HPC? A lot of Si posters are noticing that NB is heavy into the pennies. I'll replay for you the comments I posted on another site: <Quote> Nesbitt is facing a major lawsuit (for their alleged negligence associated with the Bre-X debacle) in Texas (from article in the local press this weekend). In Texas the settlements are huge by Canadian standards. And I am betting that they are smart enough to know that the chances of Hyal being explosive within the next 3 to 6 months is worth the expenditure of scarse cash to reap major returns. This law suit is expected to cost them in the billions. So what better way to raise cash than by the next best thing to insider trading? They would probably get each of the top analysts to nominate some candidates for house accumulation. And in the case of Hyal it does not hurt to have some bad news (Australia, Altana etc) at times to facilitate further accumulation. <End of Quote> What do you think? Next thing you know there would be a: "What is NB accumulating?" thread! I know that Wood Gundy does the same thing (analyst's top picks) but for for their Blue Chips. Cheers Winzer
