Claude - I have just been looking at the company web page - it would be interesting if some details were available on the history of the Madsen Mine - maps, sections, etc. I hope the company does this because it will be easier to follow developments.

With the success of Goldstrike, and Claude in the Red lake area it is a wonder that these mines were closed. Maybe exploration techniques have been improved. The group I was with dewatered the old Cochenour Mine in the late 70's, the company name was changed to Wilanour. We did a lot of drilling but never found the key.
G.A are now finding ore at depth, and on the old Dickenson property.

Elsewhere we are seeing the success that Agnico are having. The beginning of a resurgance of mining in these great historic areas.
