They're doing a good job of defending the indefensible. The sad thing to me is that we have degenerated as a society to the point of picking our leaders on the basis of how pretty they are, how glib their speech, how marketable their sound bites. We're not looking for substance, just appearances.

The press is ALREADY talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton running for the Senate. Does her picture on the cover of Vogue qualify her in any way? What else has she done that qualifies her? Haven't we had enough of these people yet? When will we ever learn?

I'm ready for a woman President, but let her be a woman of substance.
