Good, we hope you do come to Mardi Gras. If so stop buy and we can meet, I'll even buy you dinner and drinks. The last couple of years, we've gone to Mardi Gras here, and in New Roads, La. New Orleans is such a hassle when you can go every year (seriously!); but, a lot of folks come and spend a lot of money, and that's good. I've heard Justin has a young wife. One of my wife's aunts was friends with him when they lived in Livingston Parish (they've since moved to New Roads). Unfortunately, I don't speak French, except what little I learned in High School, and a few standard Cajun phrases. My Grandparents could speak and understand Cajun French, my parents could understand it, and all of us kids do neither. Even worse, we don't even have the accent <G>. I really only glanced at you piece on Napalm, cause I was in a hurry and it was kind of long. I'll go back and read it. If you checked with the Advocate's home page, you caught up on what's going on here with it. I was just made aware of it by our local paper, and, naturally, I'm concerned. Good Luck, yours, Steve |
