It's because of the legal baggage, and the perception that management isn't on the up and up, IMO. "If it does, then Digital Research should sue Microsoft for 400 Billion." Umm, the US Gov't is having trouble with MSFT in court. How is that a fair comparison? Also, have any prosecutors indicted Mr. Gates for stealing that code? What proof is there that Digital Research had code stolen from them? I've never heard of Digital Research or what you're claiming. The proof the AVNT stole from Cadence is pretty compelling. Also, CDN is the gorilla. I'm not saying the legal system should favor the gorilla, but it does. Would you be worried about Digital Research if MSFT had their code stolen and MSFT was after them? The only reason that this case hasn't been resolved by now is because of AVNT's legal chicanery and OJ Simpson style defense. But that's just my opinion. Barb
