Early last year I dabbled for the first time on an internet stock (AOL aside since it is an established institutional big cap). Chased and bought 100 shares of YHOO in the high 90's, stock then tanked 15 points in two days and I freaked. On retrace up, I set a hard stop which got triggered, took a 3 point loss. Had I held ... my 100 shares of yhoo would have been 200 shares at today's price. I swore never ever to sweat an internet stock again.
