I was pursuing Wendy's query re. Cameco and I found this article that discusses Cameco, Allied Signal, Kazakhstan and World Wide Minerals.

I saw Allied, Kaz and Cameco in the article and was naturally wondering about if/how ESSI might fit in. The story ends up being off topic but fascinating, and perhaps appealing to those willing to gamble on a successful outcome for World Wide, if they can win a case against KAZ and enforce it. Their stock had sunk to .03 when I checked. As I understand it, World Wide lent over 22 million USD and got pushed out after successful development. Take a look. Might be an interesting play if you believe they can attach shipments of uranium concentrates from Kazakhstan....
