If the acquisition was going to be by tender offer it would stand to reason that LU would be talking to the largest owners of Q stock.

Not to speak for Gregg, but from conversations with Gregg, I suspect that he sees this the same as I do - any buyout is bad for long term stock-holders. I certainly wouldn't want LU shares (or any other Telecom's shares) for my QCOM shares.

As for why Gregg isn't talking right now - he's probably on the road doing research. Not much is happening on the board recently that is of critical interest. Relax.
