I invested in a telecommunications company American Telesource International, Inc. (ATIL) on the Toronto Exchange. When it moved to the U.S. market, ATIL was not available so they picked AMTI. Of course BII will not be available for a NASDAQ stock which must have four or five letters. BII would be available for the AMEX or (happy days) the NYSE. As for BDCMF, the "F" stands for foreign so that has to go. If BDCM is available, then they would get that symbol. Getting out of Canada takes time, patience is rewarded.
