Arthur, I think it could make BOSTQ look like a slow leisurely slide. Do you recall the plunge that OXHP had about a year or so ago when the investment community suddenly discovered that the profit and growth was mainly a fraud? As I recall, on the day of the announcement OXHP gapped down around $35 to around $29 a share. It then slid to about $6 over the next year. There was no way to get out when it finally gapped down. But the interesting point was that the news was a surprising development to many investors who thought that OXHP was sound.

So why do I think this will be worse? Because you and I and just about everyone else out there knows that these companies are illusions. That probably means that there are stop losses all over the place. And as you know, once a stop loss is triggered it becomes a market order.

I will leave it to Venkie and the other riverboat gamblers to trade those baubles. I will stick to solid growth companies like DELL and CSCO and TLAB, and I will sleep soundly at night.

TTFN,
CTC
