Anthony, Is the $39.95 per month your total cost or just for an access link, then another charge for usage time? Do you know other people personally that have cable modems in your area? Just wondering how fast the cable modems are spreading. I see projection figures, but nothing beats getting info from real people. The way I see it,....the cable modems are a true force that could totally crush the ADSL market if the ADSL roll outs continue to drag out. Kind of like Beta and VHS. I think cable modems will lift the Cable Companies to a new level of service class, and they may start to connect to Business as well. I am sure business companies would love cable modems and would pay premium for the installation. Then run 128 bit encryption for security. Too bad the phone companies dragged the ass for so long,.... it may be too late. Just my opinion.
