PMFJI, but I couldn't resist <g>.

>>Green Bay is the most successful team in the history of professional football

Not true; it's the Niners.

>>The team is still loaded with young talent, unlike the aged 49ers for example.

Not true; Rice is getting a little long in the tooth, but he hasn't been the Man since 1996. In fact, there is no one Man on the Niners - Owens, Hearst, and Young split that title on O, Young, Bryant, Norton, Hanks and McDonald on D. Most of these stars aren't into their prime years yet.

>>The 49er game was stripped from the Packers

Very sour grapes. Bad calls in both directions. Rice's catch wasn't for a td; it took 3 more big plays that GB couldn't stop to clinch the game.

>>Green Bay is the class of the NFL

The team is, but if you are representative, not the fans. How about just saying "wait till next year" like Niners Faithful have said to the Pack the last few years. Greenbay will be a fierce competitor for years to come; I just wish their fans wouldn't wear those foam cheese hats to Candlestick anymore.
