Thanks Porter for your views on options trading and the AC play. I
am doing my trading through HONG KONG NET TRADER via the internet
and doing my own research.I'm not sure I need to use high commission
brokers to assess the best options play. I would hope the more
experienced players would get on board this thread and collectively
share their thoughts and wisdom.
In regards to Air Canada you could buy April $8 calls for 50c on Fri. If AC moves another $2 over the next 2 mths as some analysts
predict, those April calls in March should be worth $2-$2.50. Not
a bad ROI! Is my analysis unfounded? Given CAN. AIRLINES problems
I see far more upside for AC over the next 12 months. Just look at
the CN RAIL experience; a doubling of share prices in less than 1 yr.
I predict 1997 will be the year for Air Canada.
