Now if you are happy with this service and the price is good, will you tell your friends? What would it take for you to switch to an ADSL modem? I guess my point is that once the cable modems have a strong presence its almost impossible to break the mold. It doesn't matter even if the other technology is better, in the end dominance will win out. Examples,.... Macs vs. IBM clones, Beta vs. VHS. In my opinion Cable modems are about 2 years ahead of ADSL modems in terms of pricing and deployments. Too bad the ADSL roll out is plagued with delay after delay. ADSL could have been huge but you all know how fast the phone companies move,......how pathetic.
