However, I think if you review the message you will find that I mostly confined my statements to trying (and failing) to reconcile your statements. I will allow that perhaps my feelings did come through a time or two...
As to being pointless... I don't think so.
If you mean pointless with regard to how it will effect DGIV's price, it all depends on your assumptions as to the interaction (or lack thereof) between this BB versus the stock price. I suspect that my one post has an non-measurable effect on the stock price. Furthermore, the losses I have incurred in this stock are, in financial terms, "sunk." They will not be erased.
If you mean pointless with regard to having an emotional impact on myself and others... nope, you are wrong. I will leave it at that.
If you mean pointless with regard to making no points... hmmmm... did I really do that bad a job? OK. Let me break it down for you.
Observations: you have stated in the past that you thought DGIV was recently paying promoters. You also stated that you didn't think they would meet SEC filing requirements in order to stay on the OTC exchange.
Point: Your statements do not reflect a coherent impression of Digitcom's current state and / or intent.
Hypothesis: Digitcom itself is unimportant to you. What is important is the reaction by members of this BB to various stimuli.
The hypothesis is most likely never going to be proven. However, there is evidence that it is not far-etched. That evidence is your statements about your park "experiments."
Observations: You have espoused a libertarian philosophy. You have also related a story (with what I perceived to be some glee) of an experiment of an intrusive nature without the permission of the subject(s). You are suspected of another similar occurrence (by me and others).
Point: The intrusive nature of your experiments is not in keeping with the libertarian philosophy.
Hypothesis: You do not live your espoused philosophy. I do not intend to try and prove the hypothesis. It is put forward for your consideration.
The "live and let live" theme is key to libertarian principle.
You have rejected YUP-dom, but have many of the symptoms. Even Val has been on the thread (at least) twice to gently chide you for your apparent inconsistency.
I find the following statement fascinating:

I evaluate my situation to be very similar to yours (even to the point of tolerated eccentricities), but I consider my job to be the perfect thing for a yuppie. BTW, except for the house I live in, your next paragraph applies to me, in principle, as well.
Let's face it Paul, the first step in any 12-step program is to acknowledge you have a problem. :-)
But, back to the point. Taken together, these things point out inconsistencies and speak of ulterior motives.
My desire is that I wish that to be taken into account anytime someone reads one of your posts. I desire that, because I think that over a period of time, a BB may have an effect on stock price. Under certain circumstances, I feel that effect may be more drastic and more immediate. It is my desire that Digitcom be evaluated according to its merits and its failures, not because of the hype or the accusations. It should be evaluated with due consideration given its non-reporting status. That is MY motivation.
In closing, I just had to say... I LOVED THE FOLLOWING!!!!!
But then again, maybe you just have some weird subconscious desire to throw your money away! If you wanted to do that though, you should consider some more artistic way of doing it, like painting yourself blue, making a large bonfire fed by dollar bills, and dancing naked around it! You could probably even get a government arts grant to help with the expenses!
