Hmm, I don't remember that. About 12-18 months ago I held a short position in YHOO for about $5 pre-split point loss. That isn't much. Except for some short term gambling on AMZN (no I didn't make any money on that), I haven't been short the inuts since closing them last January.

I don't ever really load up on any one short position anyway - that's too distressing even with scam stocks like ZONA. I did have a pretty big short position in ZITL and ADTN for a while though, but I don't hold then when the stock is moving against the position.



I saw in the paper today one analyst touting amzn at 400 (this might have been presplit)

A real sign of the times when doesn't know if a price mentioned is before or after a 3 for 1 split!
