Bald Eagle, Someone on Yahoo thread said that the breakup fee was negotiated at $2.1m Sounds a little better. It seems that the parts are greater than the whole. For whatever reason, the investment community didn't like the fit. It has been an arbitrage's dream from the start. I wonder about the timing of this breakup announcement. SESI may not have wanted the breakup fee showing in 1998 financial's? Since I own a chunk of both of them, and they're both going up...it all sounds fine to me. Dave
