I wouldn't be surprised if DELL and AMZN are not around ten years from now. Intel may buy Sony and Apple and put all the box makers out of business along with MSFT. Ten years from now why would I buy a $100 computer from DELL ... then I'd have to spend $10 to ship it back when it breaks.

If I have to spend another $2000 -$4000 on my next system it better do the dishes. I got a new Compaq and may not buy another system until it they are completely solid state, with no moving part or buggy software to load. And if Sony sales one that controls my TV, Sat. dish, toaster, microwave, video camera, keyboard, vcr, stereo and car radio... why would I buy from DELL.

Everybody is going to sale online next year. If you don't have bricks and mortor you won't have nothing but a website.
