Fishback's seminar in Seattle was interesting and probably worth the money for most attendees... Out of the 50 or more that were there, I don't recall any opting out for a refund at the end of the first day, including myself.

However, I suppose in the long run, I wish I had saved my money since I am not using his strategies for my personal tradings. There were some great strategies taught and some more basic ones...all of which could be profitable. However, with a fairly small speculative account, I didn't feel like I could comfortably implement them without risking a loss of the majority of my capitol. In otherwords, I didn't want to risk the possible substantial drawdowns that might occur if you hit two or three bad choices in a row before hitting the winner... I was also a bit disappointed in one of the trades he uncovered at the end of the seminar... It was a bond trade that required a commodoties account. I had specifically asked prior to the seminar what type of account would be needed to implement the strategies taught at the seminar and was told that an stock/option/equity would be all that was needed.

However, if someone has a substantial (50K+) account..or has more tolerance for absolute risk than I do... I'd say that it was well worth it...

A few of the strategies, could, though be implemented with smaller accounts. They just didn't seem to hold as quick a profit potential as the strategies I'm already using. I suppose the best thing about the seminar for me was that it strengthened my resolve to stick with a strategy I am using now and to stop looking for that holy grail elsewhere....
