Bob,

I agree that there is some license taken by the popular media to slant against christians, white men, etc. but to say it's just like pre WW2 years is a stretch, paranoid maybe. We're a long way from rounding them up and gassing 'em. I don't see christians being blamed for all that's wrong with the country. I think we all can be grateful that plenty of races and creeds are still pointing fingers at each other for their particular ax grind. Wonderful isn't it.
I remember in parochial school the whining about the poor christians always being picked on. We never studied the Inquisition for some reason though. I realize that's a Roman Catholic thing but nonetheless...
As an economic conservative and social libertarian I don't care for the coopting of the thus far only viable alternative to the Democrats by the so-called christian right which seems to focus on the social issues thereby scuttling any hope of the economically conservative policies which I'm interested in from taking hold. I don't care if someone wants to gamble, take drugs, bunghole their friends and yes, as disagreeable as it is, abort their fetus'. Well, I care about the last, but I don't see how the government can legitamitely claim first rights.
I don't know why I bring this all up. It seemed relevant at the time. Just no more whining!

Bruce
