Thanks for disks info. I'm covered then in that regard since the three-disk set of NT install boot floppies came along with my NT documentation.

Also I appreciate your words of encouragement and experience from time to time.

But I swear to you there is no such thing as a boot
of NT from a floppy disk.


Never doubted you Spots. Especially since I followed the disk creation directions without problem except that the end product didn't work.

Lots of the NT gurus have a fixed scenario in mind and
speak to it.


I'll do some reading around the area in question to see if I can find some reasoning behind Daily's odd neglect to mention the DOS environment for these disks.
