Jeff & all,
I had 2 trades this week, 1 winner with the DM & a loser with the CD.
Fortunately the winner was very profitable & the loser only 61 points on 2 contracts. When I bought the CD I thought that the fundamentals should propel it towards .78, but have reconsidered for
the following reasons:
1 The Chretien Gov't are making noises about letting up on the deficit war.
2 I really don't feel that the Can Gov't feels it can compete on a level playing field & need the advantage of a lower CD.
Therefore if the CD threatens to go much above .75 the CB will step
in & sell it down & or lower interest rates.
Any comments.
