Lack of interest as a contrarian indicator.

It is really ironic that many stocks that do well attract little interest.
When Comsat was trading at 21-23, no one had any interest at all here. Same story when AT&T was trading at 23-24 a year or so ago.
SPSS may surprise us. They are rubbing a lot of sticks together and
just might succeed in lighting a fire. The best thing in their favor is
that they are broadening their product line and expertise at a time
when their markets are growing rapidly. It will not take very many
wins to significantly improve their bottom line.
