NDS as an industry standard directory service

Only if there has been some agreement between the companies and there wasn't any mention of Novell in that one or did I miss something. I don't underestimate Schmidt. He may very well be talking to them about putting Novell into that mix as the directory server.

But Netware 5 has been out just one quarter. You need two really good quarters of sales beyond expectations to gain momentum in the NOS arena. In other words to break out of the "Novell sells only to its installed base" cliche. Success breeds more success.

Then there is the question of where are the other Novell sales? Are there internet sales? Are ISP's buying NDS and Bordermanager? Are web sites replacing NT as they grow with Netware and the NSCP web server? Who is using NDS in a public internet type network? Where are the success stories?

Got any info?

I haven't seen any sales news, but if you find some please post it.
