Thanks Chris - that was fantastic and just at the right level. Should have asked you a long time ago. Why do you think GTE would use Airspan rather than QCOM's WLL product? It sounds like there is a difference in bandwidth with Airspan being potentially wider. When you say Airspan uses CDMA in its unbastardized version I assume you mean in a version that is not constrained to be used for narrower channels.
This is very interesting for both QCOM and DIGI investors because I hear alot about QCOM's Wireless Local Loop product and the potential revenues it may receive worldwide. What are the advantages for QCOM's product relative to Airspan worldwide (as well as domestically with GTE and others)? I would think one advantage for QCOM's product is that it is being distributed by Motorola in China and that Motorola probably has more of a toehold than DSC. What are the technical differences and advantages?
