To All: By the turn of fortune one of our regulars is Sherry Foxx also known as Foxxy.
Sherry has inspired lovely poetry on other threads, torrid PM's, and vicious flames on this thread. By good luck I was able to contact Sherry's mother and she send me this letter:

Dear Druss
Thank you for sending me the letter asking about Sherry. First of all Sherry's father and I are not together now. Fortunately I am still able to cope financially and all. With managing the servants, the mansion, and his business it has been a trial. I am not a financial person or into money at all but the Good Lord guided me to a good lawyer and it seems I have done well in the divorce. I do think my lawyer's comment that I got every dime he had or will ever earn was a small exaggeration though.
Sherry was always a determined girl and I have worried a lot about her dealing with the world, you know it can be so cruel sometimes. She first left home for a job when she was twenty and it concerned me. She went to South Dakota which I later found out was a Yankee state despite it having South attached to its name. That just goes to show you can never trust those Yankees. That was a terrible shock to my system to find out my little Sherry had strayed from the South. Sherry then wrote me about having to go into a bar to make a phone call because her car broke down and she was accosted. Two men almost immeadiately jumped the one who accosted her and beat him senseless. I was just horrified at this story, that a brute like that could be running around loose. I was so glad there were gentlemen around to beat the dog snot out of him, but like any mother I just worried more about my little girl.
Then Sherry wrote me to say she had gotten a job as a dancer. I was really concerned, one never knows just what is expected in the entertainment industry. But Sherry assured me she was just an exotic dancer and not doing some floozy type job. She sent me a picture with her and all her feathery fans and I knew it was alright because there was just nothing exposed. I have always been afraid of snakes but Sherry said she wasn't scared of the one she danced with at all so I guess it is just me.
Sherry started in Mobridge, South Dakota but she was a great dancer, because she was soon dancing in places like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I think it is just motherly instincts but I was worried about her, I was afraid life was moving too fast and she might have trouble adjusting and maintaining her maidenly honor. I simply didn't know my Sherry that well.
I got a letter just yesterday from her and I know she won't mind if I quote part of it.

"Mom, I have really been doing well with the dancing. People are even talking about me doing a command performance in front of the Des Moines city council (and the mayor!). But I think of you and I feel I am on the wrong path. I think you raised me differently and I want to really make you proud. So I have decided to find me a rich man and squeeze him drier than a year old cow flop on a hot day."

That letter just brought tears to my eyes. My little girl thinking so grown up and being so worldly. I am just so proud.

Sincerly
Isabella Foxx
