I'm not current on this, but I was led earlier to believe that the PPGA chips wouldn't be OCable in the same way. Of course, they'll have 333-400 mhz regular frequencies--which will mean OCing them by the same 50% increase would be all but impossible in any event.

I did what you're thinking, and picked up 2 more combos this week--one for my wife, who wants a desktop for her legal work, and one for a backup for myself.

New MBs for the PPGA are just beginning to arrive, and will not likely be as full featured as the BX chipset based slot 1 MBs that our 300a chips use.
