I need some opinions, folks. The funds from half my old WCOM shares are free now, and I am looking for a good value prospect, medium risk and stability, 50% potential in six months. My candidates so far:

FOX
PGTV
PSDI
PVSW
DISH
CC
TBFC

Right now I am leaning heavily toward FOX for diversification and defensive holdings in an economic slowdown (not to mention the new Star Wars movie due out this year). PGTV and DISH are satellite broadcasters, PSDI and PVSW are software companies I don't know well and TBFC is an online bank. Circuit City everyone should know.

I am also open to other suggestions but they should have good track records and future earnings potential. I am already fully loaded in small speculative stocks and Internut plays.

Why am I cutting back in WCOM? Still a great company but my MFNX holdings have increased the share of my portfolio in telecoms, so it's prudent to cut back on WCOM. Together they will be about 15%.

Note: I am leaving Sarajevo today for a trip to the US. I may get a few more posts in before we take off, but I will be off the air then until Monday. Anyone who would like to chat while I am in the US, PM me for a phone number or use dabmu@yahoo.com to reach me.
