THagenah Thank you and I do agree with you on General Electric. It is indeed another great company for the long term portfolio. Don't be sidetracked by some of the threads you read on this SI. Playing games with margin and options may work once in a while but it is like playing Russian Roulette. One day everything explodes in your face and you are left holding the bag. Some people will swear by the games they play and how much money they are making but when their curtain comes down, they will not admit their woes. They will go away with their tail between their legs or just deny even to themselves that they were wrong. I have been in this business for almost twenty five years and I have seen just about every thing. Buy the big guns, forget the crap that is being spread all over this web site and stand firm for the long haul. If the market goes down several hundred points this week or next, it does not matter for you own a piece of your financial future. The stock market is truly the street of dreams for people who don't play games and the proof is in the reality of what they see as the result of long term commitment.
