The incredible situation that exists - that I never would have thought possible - is that Amazon could bid for Border's (or Barnes and Nobles) based on their market cap, a la Worldcom! You are absolutely correct. And don't leave Sony off the list. I can't wait to see the FTC/DOJ antitrust scrutiny when AMZN proposes one of these cross-industry megadeals. It is high time for AMZN to reap the benefit of their sky high market cap by buying a real business (as opposed to a virtual business). SC
