And i was burned alive when I prematurely shorted the ugly looking Ziffs in december (round 12). Undecided that I was, I had some fine long positions but this Ziffs had costed me money, which I want to have back.

Pondering a ziffs short if the price is still good (> 17)n on Mo. Should have known earlier and watched better. I'm doing this "soft" shorts like a moron. Brrr.

Congrats on AMZN, Roger. Good to hear that you have your money back + a small gain. It also shows me how difficult is to time a short in the big issues, and how bad the market times is for shorting stocks still (read: when I buy every day a small amount of internuts or tech stocks and I do this regardless of market direction, I'm far ahead. There are too few "down" days).

The monkey pick list is worth a closer look. 3 of them are contained in my ready-to short list (IMAL is amongst them, AHWY too).
