<<What kind of job do you think Gary should have? I mean, since his livlihood seems to require the blessing of this thread, why don't you do us all a favor and tell him exactly what kind of a job you want him to have? Sure seems it would make it a lot easier on all here.>>
Hey, Anna, my comment wasn't really an attack against Gary; more like a comment on how the Internet now has become a kind of gold rush, even employing people with minimal computer skills and absolutely zero grammatical skills. It's just amazing to me that he can now position himself as a Web Producer. No hard feelings, just amazement, from somebody who's been an Internet programmer since 1991. Cool?
<<I guess it didn't occur to you that maybe Midland took such a financial toll on the guy that he is trying to make ends meet any way he can. While I am not going to give you the details, I can assure you that he lost a large amount of money (probably more than most here)and his standard of living has been severely impacted as a result of this stock. If that is what you wanted, you have reason to rejoice. Pardon me if I don't join you. >>
Nah, I read the same posts you do... Pity. Gurus that can't even follow their own dicta are bound to burn in the hell they create. He's admitted as much himself. "Don't put all your eggs in the same basket!!!" I believe Gary's fall is of classically mythological proportions. From World Famous Penny Stock Guru to Financial Breakdown in one year. I feel it's sad, pathetic, tragic and I feel very very sorry for him and his family.
<<Gary never claimed to be a "guru". If he is/was labeled one, it was only by mindless, spineless people who held him in that regard.>>
Well, I believe he enjoyed Guru status, made himself that in fact, by starting new threads, posting incessantly, flaming to death people that disagreed with him in the slightest. Remember the all cap shout flames? I believe he went out of his way to find new Penny stock Sleepers for one reason - to become a Penny Stock Guru. Come on, didn't he have some seminars for a while? Didn't he rename a commonly used stock trading technique after himself? Give me a freakin' break here. He positioned himself as a Guru!
Hey, I kinda like Gary. No hard feelings, but the guy did walk the walk and talk the talk and now he's gone. Whatsa poor boy to do when I hear the dude's infringing on my professional territory?
I become amused. And that's all this is about.
Professional amusement.
Have a great weekend and let's see MIDL make us some money!
<laugh!>
