Yes, Tom, I agree and I think indeed the pain will be worth the gain! In fact, I believe the pain has been relieved already! I am going to spend some time learning about A.I.M.--you know I have been told for years that one should not average DOWN on falling stock prices. But...I have done it on several occasions (not knowing any other alternative) and because I have a long term outlook for the companies, I have ended up gaining far more than had I SOLD when prices were falling. It all depends, IMO, what one's tolerance is...I, for instance, can NOT stand the thought of selling for a LOSS. I have the time and patience to wait it thru the bad times and it has rewarded my portfolio. Of course, the 'errors in judgement' (re: REAL DOGS with fleas!) that I made when I was a lot dumber than I am now <gg>, eventually MAY NOT reward me and I will just have to bite the bullet and sell...time will tell! I really like the idea that AIM has a system/formula for the correct times to buy/sell...I will study more! I am amazed at how many ways there are to research and learn! Thanx for bringing yet another way!!
Good investing,
T.
