Very shortsighted! Easy to defend status quo without any future vision. The majority of business users who use pc's are spreadhseet, e-mail or word processing types. They will be the nc users and the corps they work for will be the business drivers. No more lan managers, no more s/w upgrades, no needed office suite purchases, and the savings realized with net based collabrative authoring will be outstanding. I don't have time to show all the support market research statistics, but look around the various users yourself. This doesn't mean that the industry will introduce some real bombs of products and have to re-vamp them in the next couple of years, but that timeframe is really is two product generation life times the way pc's change.
